1. Introduction

Keto Diet Pro: AI Macro Tracker ("the App") is developed and operated by 3N Softs("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the App.

By using Keto Diet Pro, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Profile data — gender, age, height, weight, activity level, and dietary targets you enter during onboarding or in Settings.
  • Meal logs — food descriptions, ingredients, macro values (fat, protein, net carbs, fiber), meal type, and timestamps you log manually or via AI suggestion.
  • Body measurements — weight entries you record over time.
  • Fasting sessions — start and end times of intermittent fasting periods you track.
  • Ketone readings — blood or breath ketone values you log.
  • Water and electrolyte intake — hydration entries you record.

2.2 Data Generated by the App

  • Calculated nutrition values — TDEE, BMI, macro targets, and progress data derived from your profile inputs.
  • Keto score and streak data — gamification metrics computed from your logged activity.
  • AI-generated meal suggestions— when you use the "Suggest a Meal" feature, on-device AI (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models) generates suggestions. This processing happens entirely on your device and is not sent to our servers.

2.3 Device and Usage Information

  • Camera and barcode data — if you use the barcode scanner or photo meal logging feature (Pro), your camera is accessed locally. Barcode lookups query a local food database stored on your device. No images are transmitted to external servers.
  • Widget data — the App uses an App Group (group.ketoPro.3N) to share your daily macro data with the home screen widget. This data stays on your device.

2.4 Purchase Information

Subscription status— managed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Apple handles all billing.

3. How We Store Your Data

All personal data — meal logs, profile information, weight history, fasting sessions — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and iCloud (if you have iCloud sync enabled in your device settings). We do not operate servers that store your health or nutrition data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Display your macro progress, meal history, and health insights within the App.
  • Generate personalised meal plans and AI meal suggestions on-device.
  • Show your data in the home screen widget.
  • Calculate your TDEE, BMI, and keto compliance score.
  • Restore your preferences and history if you reinstall the App (via iCloud backup, if enabled).

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

Data may be disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Legal obligations — if required to comply with a valid legal process, court order, or applicable law.
  • Apple services — subscription management and in-app purchases are processed by Apple under their Privacy Policy.

6. AI and On-Device Processing

The meal suggestion feature uses Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, which runs entirely on your device. No meal descriptions, ingredient lists, or nutrition queries are sent to our servers or any third-party AI provider. Apple's on-device model processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Health Data

Keto Diet Pro does not currently integrate with Apple HealthKit. Nutrition and body measurement data you enter is stored locally in the App's own database and is not written to or read from Apple Health.

8. Children's Privacy

Keto Diet Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you have the App installed. You can delete all your data at any time by:

  1. Deleting the App from your device (removes all local SwiftData storage).
  2. Disabling iCloud sync for Keto Diet Pro in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud to stop cloud backups.

We do not retain copies of your data on external servers.

10. Security

Your data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by your device's built-in encryption (available when you have a passcode set). We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
