Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BrieFolio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all versions of BrieFolio on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

2. License

3Nsofts grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BrieFolio on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent any license validation or security mechanism in the App

3. In-App Purchase — BrieFolio Premium

BrieFolio is free to download with a limited free tier. BrieFolio Premium is available as a one-time, non-recurring in-app purchase of $9.99 USD (or local equivalent).

Free tier includes:

  • 3 documents per month
  • Contract and Generic Document templates
  • Full AI extraction, Ask, Draft Reply, Deeper Summary, and Compare tools
  • Spotlight, Calendar, and Siri integration
  • iCloud sync

BrieFolio Premium includes:

  • Unlimited documents per month
  • All 6 document templates
  • Export as PDF, Markdown, and JSON
  • Clean export without watermark
  • Document Collections
  • Family Sharing

All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

No subscription. BrieFolio Premium is a one-time purchase. You will never be charged on a recurring basis.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. 3Nsofts does not process refunds directly.

Restore Purchases. If you have previously purchased BrieFolio Premium, you can restore your purchase at no charge using the Restore Purchase option in Settings. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Family Sharing. If Family Sharing is enabled, BrieFolio Premium can be shared with up to five family members through Apple's Family Sharing feature.

4. Apple Intelligence Requirement

BrieFolio requires Apple Intelligence to process documents. Apple Intelligence is available on:

  • iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max or later
  • iPad with M1 chip or later
  • Any Apple silicon Mac

Apple Intelligence must be enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. BrieFolio is not responsible for Apple Intelligence availability, model readiness, or device eligibility. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your device, document processing features will not function.

5. Document Processing Disclaimer

BrieFolio uses on-device artificial intelligence to extract and summarize information from documents. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated insights, summaries, classifications, and recommendations are automatically generated and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
  • BrieFolio is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice
  • You should not rely solely on BrieFolio's output for legal, financial, or other consequential decisions
  • 3Nsofts makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content in the App

BrieFolio is a productivity tool, not a professional service. Always review important documents with qualified professionals.

6. Intellectual Property

BrieFolio, including its design, user interface, branding, and all content created by 3Nsofts, is the intellectual property of 3Nsofts and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your documents remain entirely your own. 3Nsofts claims no ownership over any document or content you process through BrieFolio.

7. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The documents you add to BrieFolio
  • Ensuring you have the right to process any document you add to the App
  • Not using BrieFolio to process documents you do not have permission to access
  • Not using BrieFolio to process documents containing information that may be illegal to possess or process in your jurisdiction

You must not use BrieFolio to process or analyze documents in connection with any illegal activity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

BrieFolio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

3Nsofts does not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 3Nsofts and its developers, officers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or documents
  • Loss of profits or business
  • Inaccurate AI-generated insights relied upon for decisions
  • Any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use BrieFolio

In no event shall 3Nsofts's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for BrieFolio Premium, or $9.99 if no purchase was made.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 3Nsofts and its developers, officers, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of BrieFolio or violation of these Terms.

11. Updates and Changes to the App

3Nsofts may update BrieFolio from time to time through the App Store. Updates may change, add, or remove features. 3Nsofts reserves the right to modify or discontinue BrieFolio at any time with or without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

3Nsofts may update these Terms of Use. Updated Terms will be posted at https://www.3nsofts.com/briefolio/terms and the effective date will be updated. Continued use of BrieFolio after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. App Store Terms

Your use of BrieFolio is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the App Store Terms, the App Store Terms govern with respect to App Store-specific matters.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary. 3Nsofts, not Apple, is solely responsible for BrieFolio and its content.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BrieFolio will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction specified by applicable consumer protection laws in your region.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy at https://www.3nsofts.com/briefolio/privacy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 3Nsofts regarding BrieFolio and supersede all prior agreements.
