Sorto uses secure IMAP access to receive mail and SMTP access to send mail. Provider availability depends on its server settings and app-password requirements. Privacy Policy
Gmail via App Password
Gmail connects securely using a Google App Password over standard IMAP/SMTP. Messages are read on your device to classify, prioritize, and assist replies. Requires 2-Step Verification enabled on the Google account. Learn how to create one.

- Original email always remains available
- Supported reply assistance runs on-device

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does Sorto send my emails to a server?
Sorto connects directly to your configured mail provider to receive and send mail. Classification and supported AI assistance run on your device; email content is not sent to 3Nsofts servers or third-party AI providers.
Which email providers are supported?
Sorto supports Gmail with a Google App Password, iCloud Mail with an Apple app-specific password, and other compatible accounts that provide secure IMAP access for receiving mail and SMTP access for sending. Availability depends on each provider’s server and app-password requirements.
What does Sorto Archive do?
Sorto maintains its own local Archive. Archiving a message in Sorto does not move that message on your email provider’s server. Sorto does not permanently delete messages or silently send replies.
Will Sorto notify me immediately when an important email arrives?
Sorto can notify you about important unread messages after it refreshes your mailbox. iOS schedules background refresh based on system conditions, so delivery is not guaranteed to be immediate. Opening or manually refreshing Sorto always checks for new mail.
Does Sorto work on Mac?
No. Sorto 2.1 supports iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26. Mac Catalyst is not enabled.
What is Focus?
Focus creates a guided session from messages that may need attention. You can review the brief, reply, snooze, correct the classification, archive, mark the message done, or skip it while keeping the original email available.
Does Sorto send email automatically?
No. Sorto never sends a message without your explicit approval.

You remain in control
Read for Classification
Sorto reads messages over a secure connection to classify and prioritize them on-device.
Send Only With Approval
Sorto sends a reply only when you explicitly approve it. It never sends email automatically.
Local Sorto Archive
Sorto can mark messages read or unread and maintain its own local Archive. Archiving does not move the message on your email provider’s server.
Sorto does not permanently delete messages or silently send replies. Some mailbox actions remain local to Sorto rather than changing the message on your provider’s server.
