Our core principle: privacy by default
Flary is built with privacy as a default, not an option. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Your tasks stay on your Mac. 3nsofts has no access to them.
Data We Collect
None. Flary does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or identifiers of any kind.
Data Stored on Your Device
Flary stores the following data locally on your Mac only, using Apple's SwiftData framework and your iCloud-isolated app container:
- Your tasks and subtasks
- Task completion timestamps
- Daily task history (used for streak calculation)
- App settings (idle threshold, nudge cooldown, AI toggle, etc.)
This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server. It is not shared with any third party. It is not accessible to 3nsofts.
AI Features
The AI task decomposition feature in Flary uses Apple's Foundation Models framework, which runs entirely on your device. No task titles, content, or any other information is sent to 3nsofts or any external server. Apple's own privacy terms govern the on-device model. Flary has no visibility into what is processed.
Network Access
Flary does not make any network requests. It has no backend, no remote API, and no cloud sync. There is no account system and no login.
Widgets
The Flary home screen widget reads your active task list from a shared local app group container on your device. This data does not leave your Mac.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
Flary contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting tools, and no tracking of any kind. If Flary crashes, we do not receive any notification or report.
Children's Privacy
Flary does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a future version of Flary, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Changes will only ever be in the direction of providing more privacy, not less.
