1. Overview
MyLiveDJ is a native Mac and iPhone application developed by 3Nsofts. The Mac app selects or suggests music from broad work context; the iPhone app creates Apple Music sessions for a journey or activity you choose. No MyLiveDJ account is required.
2. Information processed on your devices
On Mac, MyLiveDJ may process:
- The bundle identifier and name of the frontmost application
- The amount of time the Mac has been idle
- The selected music service and DJ mode
- Playback state and basic track metadata
- Playlist mappings, preferences, and suggestion decisions
- Successful music starts used to time a native App Store rating request
On iPhone, MyLiveDJ may process:
- The journey or activity type you choose
- The duration you select and active-session timing
- An optional destination query and route estimate when you request one
- Motion-activity status, such as walking, running, driving, or stationary
- Apple Music playlist, playback, and basic track information
This information is not transmitted to 3Nsofts. Apple system services may process requests you initiate, such as Apple Music catalog access, private iCloud sync, or an optional route calculation, under your Apple account and device privacy settings.
3. Information MyLiveDJ does not inspect
- Screen contents or window titles
- Documents, files, messages, email, or browser history
- Clipboard contents or keystrokes
- Microphone, camera, contacts, or calendars
4. Apple Music
When Apple Music is selected, MyLiveDJ uses MusicKit to search for playlists, check subscription availability, and control playback. Requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy policy and your Apple account settings. MyLiveDJ does not receive your Apple ID credentials.
5. Spotify
On Mac, when Spotify is selected, MyLiveDJ controls the locally installed Spotify desktop application through macOS Automation and Apple Events. Spotify is not currently available in the iPhone app. Spotify playback, account activity, recommendations, advertising, subscriptions, and availability remain subject to Spotify's terms and privacy policy. MyLiveDJ does not receive your Spotify password or authentication credentials.
6. Permissions
MyLiveDJ may request Apple Music access on Mac and iPhone. The Mac app may request Automation access when Spotify is selected. On iPhone, location access is requested only when you ask the app to calculate a route, and motion access supports activity status during a journey. It does not require Accessibility, Screen Recording, microphone, camera, contacts, calendars, or broad file-system access. Permissions can be reviewed or revoked in your device settings.
7. Local storage
MyLiveDJ uses system preferences storage on your device for settings such as:
- Selected music service and DJ mode
- Playlist preferences and notification visibility
- Suggestion cooldowns and review-prompt state
The date on which your 14-day free trial begins is stored in the device Keychain. MyLiveDJ may also place the earliest trial-start date in your private iCloud database so the evaluation remains consistent across your Apple devices. This record is handled through Apple CloudKit and is not stored on a 3Nsofts server.
Ownership of the one-time permanent unlock is verified through Apple's StoreKit and App Store purchase systems. Apple handles the purchase transaction and verification; MyLiveDJ does not receive your payment-card details.
Preferences remain on your device and can be removed with the app's associated data. Keychain and private iCloud records may persist according to Apple's platform behavior, and App Store purchase ownership remains associated with your Apple account so an eligible purchase can be restored.
8. Trial and purchase data
Starting the 14-day evaluation does not require payment details and does not create an automatic charge. MyLiveDJ does not operate a subscription or recurring billing system. Purchase history, billing, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple under its policies.
9. Diagnostics
MyLiveDJ uses Apple's Unified Logging system for local diagnostic messages. These logs may contain technical state, application identifiers, playlist names, or error codes and follow Apple-platform logging and retention behavior. If you voluntarily share a diagnostic report with 3Nsofts, it will be used only to investigate your report. Apple may separately provide App Store diagnostics according to your device and privacy settings.
10. Children
MyLiveDJ is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when MyLiveDJ's features or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published.
