Permissions

Junkyard requires the following macOS permissions to function:

Full Disk Access

  • Required to scan system folders and identify reclaimable space
  • You control this permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Without this permission, the app cannot scan protected system folders

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

  • View Your Data: All cleanup history is stored in plain JSON format on your Mac
  • Delete Your Data: Simply delete the app and its support files to remove all data
  • Control Scanning: You decide when to scan and what to clean

Children's Privacy

Junkyard does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app requires no personal information to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date.
