Privacy Policy

1. Summary

This Privacy Policy describes how Imminent ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the Imminent application on Apple Vision Pro.

Imminent does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you enter and all AI processing happens entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or account information (no account is required)
• Session content, preparation notes, or dictated text
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers
• Location data
• Biometric or health data

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Imminent stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Session names and session types you create
• Raw input text you paste or dictate (job descriptions, agendas, study topics)
• AI-generated preparation items produced from your input
• Session progress, including items marked practiced or skipped
• Voice notes added during preparation sessions

This data exists solely on your device. It follows your device's standard visionOS security and encryption model. You can delete it at any time by deleting the app.

4. On-Device AI Processing

All AI-generated content is produced using Apple's Foundation Models framework (Apple Intelligence). Processing occurs entirely on your device.

Your input text is never sent to Apple's servers or our servers for AI processing. Apple's own privacy practices govern Foundation Models. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Voice and Microphone Access

Imminent may request microphone access for voice dictation. Voice input is processed through Apple's Speech framework. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted beyond immediate transcription processing.

You can revoke microphone access any time in device Settings.

6. iCloud and Backups

Imminent does not currently provide iCloud sync. If your device is configured to back up to iCloud, local app data may be included in your backup under Apple's standard backup behavior.

Backup behavior is governed by your iCloud settings and Apple's terms.

7. Third-Party Services

Imminent does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. We do not use SDKs that collect user data.

8. Children's Privacy

Imminent is not directed at children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Because we do not collect user data at all, there is no additional collection risk specific to children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
