Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using MacTab ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

3nsofts grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MacTab on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Sublicense or sell access to the App

3. What the App does

MacTab is a productivity tool that saves and restores macOS workspace snapshots. It accesses browser tabs, running applications, Finder paths, terminal sessions, and Apple Notes on your device for this purpose only.

4. Permissions and system access

MacTab requests macOS Accessibility and Automation permissions to function. By granting these permissions, you authorise the App to read the relevant system and application data described in our Privacy Policy.

You can revoke permissions at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future versions of macOS or third-party applications.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3nsofts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

7. Third-party applications

MacTab interacts with third-party applications (Safari, Chrome, Arc, iTerm2, Terminal, Finder, Apple Notes) on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those applications. Their availability and behaviour may change at any time and is outside our control.

8. Updates

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, the license granted herein ceases immediately.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which 3nsofts operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
